People Profilers is an independent HR group across Southeast Asia — recruitment, executive search, EOR, payroll, and advisory. Founded in Singapore in 2002 and MOM EA-licensed (02C4944 & 10C3804), we operate across five markets through nine locally-licensed entities, with on-the-ground teams in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

Our Story
The founding
The belief was simple: recruitment, done properly, is one of the only businesses where ethical sales is the only sale that works. It isn't about selling — it's about helping, supporting, and servicing clients well enough that they come back. Year after year. For decades.
Matthew Lim registered People Profilers in Singapore as a sole proprietorship on 9 September 2002 (ROC #52977389M), under one tagline: "Profiling the right people for every profession."
Incorporated
People Profilers Pte. Ltd. is incorporated on 15 December 2006, with full MOM Employment Agency Licence. The Singapore office grows from one consultant to a multi-vertical team across 15 specialist industries.
Two specialist arms
People Profilers (Executive Search) Pte. Ltd. launches for senior-leadership, regional director, and C-suite mandates. In parallel, People Profilers (Services) Pte. Ltd. is established to deliver EOR, payroll outsourcing, and contract staffing under a dedicated entity.
Regional expansion
Offices open in Vietnam (2018), Thailand (2022), Malaysia (2023), with an expanding presence in Indonesia (2025). The service mix broadens beyond recruitment to a full Talent + Employer + Advisory group: executive search, EOR, manpower outsourcing, payroll management, and HR advisory.
Five markets, one HR partner
Across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam — and an expanding presence in Indonesia. The founding belief has held: many of the clients who came to us in 2002 still work with us today.

This is the core of who we are. Our average client tenure is over seven years. Many of our placements come back as hiring managers, then as clients themselves. We measure ourselves on lifetime relationships, not single transactions.

Every entity in every country is locally licensed. We never operate through informal arrangements, franchise structures, or third-party intermediaries. When we recruit across borders, you have a single regulated counterparty in each market.
Consultative, not transactional
We advise as much as we recruit. Our consultants tell clients when a brief is unrealistic, when a candidate is not right, and when a competing role might suit a candidate better. That honesty is why brief-givers and candidates return.

People Profilers operates in five Southeast Asian markets through locally-owned-or-fronted entities. We are regional in coverage and consciously local in execution — the consultant handling your Bangkok role lives and works in Bangkok.
